New tenant convicted of sexual battery and had my car towed, how can I do to get out?

A few weeks after I renew my lease the property owner moves his son, who was recently comvicted of sexual battery onto the property. Upset that I was not notified prior to his moving in and signing of my lease that this was the case I tried to move on. Well about a month afterwards I come home from work to find that he has had my car towed. I knocked on his door to see if he saw what happened and he became very irrate so I backed off and went to my side of the property. He later call the police on me. (???) The owner got my car back and I'm assuming he reprimanded his son and he apologized to my boyfriend who does not live here. My problem is that I am caught between a rock and a hard place and feel that it would be best that I move. I feel that the damage has already been done and ther is nothing he can say to me to make things better. I lived on this property for a year by myself and have never had any altercations with anyone. What can I do?

That does not normally invalidate the lease.

But you can sue in small claims for any damage or costs if he acts improperly or tows wrongfully etc.
