Confused help me: the kitchen sink clogged up

i rent an appartment and a month after i moved in the kitchen sink clogged up and they said it was our fault because we disposed of too much oil so they charged us 136 dollars, now they have electrical stoves and ive always had problems with it they had come once already to fix it but did nothing major to fix it now resently it just comepletly stop working so the maintance came in and changed some parts but now their charging me 114 dollars including their labor work, can this be i talked to a plumer and he said it was impossible for me to clogg up the sink in less than a month unless there was a aleady existing problem. can they do this???

I don't know what type of plumber you talked to, but he's wrong. It is very possible to clog up a sink in only a month. I've seen it done several months in a row from this. Not only have I seen this in kitchen sinks with grease, but in bathroom sinks with hair. I've even seen so much grease put down a sink that it messed up the main drain in the street (and the city had to bring in a special truck to clear that line!) If the sink was clear when you took occupancy and you didn't wipe the grease out of pans before you put them in the sink, you could easily clog the sink up. From now on, wipe out all pans before they go in the sink. Grease goes in cans or straight to the trash.

The stove is another issue. Unless you broke the stove, you should not be paying to fix it. Stove parts can wear out and break all on their own without you doing anything. Tell management that you didn't do anything to break the stove and you are not responsible for their routine repairs and maintenance.
