EVICTION QUESTION
I am in Michigan and have a tenant in my house that hasn't paid a dime since she got in. Going on 3 months. Served with a 7 day and plan on filing complaint on day 8. Even if she pays can we still get her out? She told us she was buying our house, she signed a lease purhase option, and she keeps telling us she's going to close on HER lease option to pay for ours any day now, just to keep us from getting the money, but she doesn't know that we know she doesn't even have a house to sell. Nothing is in writing of her excercising this option right now because technically she has a year, but i thre anything we can get her out for because she's lying and we know it? Is there such thing as an UNCONDITIONAL QUIT in Michigan? She's violating one of the lease terms, but she could easily pay up on that, but I would like to just get her out because there's way more to the story, but don't have the time to type it all out. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HELP!!!

If she has failed to pay you normally may indeed evict her even if she pays now.
