Confused Small claims judgement after 2 years

Is it possible to take the exlandlord to court and appeal a small claims judgement after 2yrs. If you find that the original claim was illegal in Illinois? Or has the statue of limitations run out on the appeal?

I wish to inform you that an appeal may be filed with 30 days for review of laws in a small claims judgment. In this regard as two years have passed, therefore, you may not be able to file an appeal.

Appeals have to be taken very quickly after trial everywhere normally.

Thank you for the information...would I be able to just take it into court as a regular case?

Not unless you have a completely separate case from the original one. You cannot simply file a new case to appeal what you think was a bad decision from the first one. A court would not hear it.
