I recently rented my house to a family who signed a lease that the house was in satisfactory codition. They never made any complaints to me about the house until I received the rent. At that time they only sent me half the rent and deducted the other half for repairs they said were mandatory. They never called or sent me anything saying anything was wrong so I could have the chance to make needed repairs. Please help me I need to know what legal rights I have. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me

You may sue them in small claims for the rent. They cannot do that.
But you should make any required repairs. |
