Confused Landlord monopoly

I moved into an apartment that offered their own internet/cable/phone service. Only after I moved in did I discover that for over $90 a month I would be getting basic cable that is fuzzy, supposed dsl internet that is slower than dialup and phone service that is spotty. Are apartment managers permitted to force their tenants to take this kind of service? They say I am not allowed to use other vendors. I feel like I am being ripped off every month.
Thank you.

If it is not adequate service you need not use it and pay for it.

Confused Re: Landlord monopoly

Thank you for your response. Is a landlord allowed to force it's tenants to use the internet service they provide even if it is substandard by not allowing us to go to another vendor? I must have internet to do my job but it is so slow that it takes my 5 times as long to get the work done. I've signed a lease and am stuck now with this service that is no good.
thank you.
