Breaking lease
My landlord informed me in January that she wanted to sell the house I am renting. I found a house to buy, informed her on Feb 8th that I did and was told "we weren't serious" by the landlord. I paid rent for February, March, and even April. I didn't receive a copy of the lease until I sent the landlord a letter informing her that I would be out at the end of April. She says I am liable for rent until October unless she sells the house. She also said she couldn't show the house while I was still occupying it. Am I liable? Doesn't she have to find a new renter or sell the house? Didn't I give her ample time?

Your lease is binding but if she said you should look for another place because she was selling then you could hold her to that. You would have to prove that she said that if it went to court. She cannot cancel your lease just because she sells by the way.
