On Friday 10/20 @ 5:25 pm, I received an eviction notice for our rental property. It says that we will be removed from the premises within 24 hours. The total past due amount is $854 ($487 rent, $330 late charges, $37 service fee). Our monthly rent is $1200 and our security deposit is $1,950. Our property management co. closes at 5 pm and is not open on weekends. We have called every available services in our area, and they are also closed. We did reach the local police station, but they were not able to offer any assistance, just telling us that the 24 hours are not business hours, which means we could be put out over the weekend. What rights do we have in the matter?
