Confused Can i get my money back after signing a lease within 3 days?

I signed a lease yesterday to a management company in NY....and gave my first and last months rent.
If I changed my mind due to events too long to place in this blog, do i have any grace period by law that I am able to "back out" and get my money back?
Thanks in Advance!!!

There is no such thing as a "cooling off period" in lease agreements. No grace period, no way out unless both parties agree.

Sounds like you should have done your homework before signing on the dotted line.

Congratulations on your new apartment.

No, there is not grace period. Once you signed the lease, unless the landlord breached it somehow, you are obligated to abide by it.
