I moved into a place not long ago and have currently found out the landlord is not licened. Is the lease valid?

Most jurisdictions do not require that a LL be licensed to rent out their units. There are a few that require property managers to have a license or other certification or meet other legal requirements, but we need to know where you live to know if it applies. State / country?
