TEXAS Can we acquire ownership of a mobile home that is on our land? We bought an acre of land that the previous owners rented to a couple that own their mobile home. They were 6 months behind on lot rent when we bought the land. Now we can not get in contact with them, It has been 5 months since we bought the land and instead of taking them to court for rent and evicting them we would like to acquire ownership of the mobile home. Where in the property abandonment laws is this located?

You can go to court and get liens on the home but the court is probably not going to give you ownership at this point unless you can clearly show they abandoned the mobile home.

I can't tell you if this applies to TX - you would have to check. But some states allow the deputy registrar to issue a new title for abandoned vehicles (and mobile homes). You would have to check and see if TX has this law.
