The President of our apartment coop filed for bankruptcy without our knowledge and we loss. What are the shareholders right's with the new owners. Under their plan, all shareholders are now renters and the occupancy agreements will be terminated.

Did the new owners buy the complex at a sheriff's sale or foreclosure sale? A short sale? Or through a regular sale via a realtor? Different rules apply depending on how they acquired possession of the place.
