How to remove tenants due to property purchase
Florida
We are buying a residental property in Florida that has tenents from the previous owners. They have no lease. When the sale is final, we intend to inhabit the home. Can we legally issue a 15 day notice for the tennants to move out so that we may move into our new home? I dont know if it makes a difference, but it is a mobile home that we are purchasing along with the land it is on. Thank you. |

You usually need to give them 30 days notice if they are now paying month to month.

Not in FL. It requires only 15 days notice per FL Statute 83.57.
