I recently bought a house with property. a friends friend asked if he could park and stay in his camper van (motorvehicle) untill he was able to mend his financial situation. I agreed. he moved in with no signed agreements at all. there was a verbal agreement for $380/month. 3 months later he has been unable to forward me any money at all for his stay. I have lost my job recently and cannot afford to let him stay. I has been quite unwilling to leave on his own accord. Can I have him taken away under illegal parking? What rights do we have in our situation? I have also been told his situation falls under the wherehouse act whereby I can conficate his stuff and sell it to cover expenses, I'm not interested in doing that. Ruediger |

You may ask the police to remove him for trespassing if he does not have permission. Normally they will do so. If they say he is now legally living there, then you will have to evict him in court.
