friends personal belongings at my property

my friend asked to use my barn to store her belongings for a month or two till she could find a place cause she had just got evicted and had no where to keep her stuff. I agree. Thinking it would not be much and only for a month or two. She brings over two 10ft trailer loads of stuff. Everything from couches/chairs to washer and dryer, beds, dressers, boxes, and stove/frig.
This was December 2008...I asked three times since when she was moving in her own place. she didnt know. End of March i let her know its going to be getting nice soon when will she be moving she said we are looking at a place. Well place fell through and then beginning of May asked if she would find alternate arrangements for her stuff I wanted my barn cleared out. No response from the email (but it was read) She isnt answering her phone and now it about to be June.
Can I legally remove her belongings and if so is there a time limit until i can.

You normally need to try to give 30 days notice in writing that you intend to dispose of the items; and then also inform the local police what you are doing as well. After that you should be okay.
