Do not create a scene. Demand your stuff back or you will contact Police or sue her. Do not just arrive that will surely create a conflict

Again, this is not a LL-Tenant issue. It is a roommate issue, specifically a bad breakup between BF & GF. This is not the forum for this posting.

Then don't post it where it doesn't belong. It is OBVIOUS to anyone that this is not a LL-TENANT issue, which is what this forum is for. Duhhhhhhh!!!!

FINALLY! Something that IS LL related and not just personal conflict. (Really - fighting over a video game? Grow up!).
If you don't want to be removed from the lease (and it is your right to remain on the lease if you wish) you can inform the LL of such. Make sure you do it in writing and mail it by certified mail. But I get the idea that you DO what to be released from the responibility of the lease obligations. If you do, make sure you get it in writing that you have no further obligation under the lease you signed. You need a signed statement that you have been removed from the lease and are no longer obligated. Otherwise, you may get a nasty surprise months from now when she moves out without paying all she owes. You will still be on the hook for the money if you do not get it in writing NOW! He can come back and sue you, since all lease signers are jointly and severally responsible for the entire lease term. Get it in writing! |
