Question i think my landlord has commited a crime against me?

I have been Renting a house for two years from my landlord and so called friend...In early January he told me he was selling the house and he was sorry that we had to move...He said he felt bad since we were friends and i didnt have to pay rent from then on..(all His idea I never brought it up)I agreed to move with no problem and said i understood..I had money for rent he turned it down.Anyway he did not give me a move out date said he would let me know..He showed the house to the lady he said was buying it so i believed he was or is selling.Anyway he filed an eviction on us without telling me and even removed it from my door.He told me he did this though and iI was upset because I owed him No money had had agreed to move.(still waitng on a move out date)He said oh dont worry I just needed proof that the house would be empty for the buyers to put up thier earnest money..He said dont worry he was not going to court ,It would not end up on my record and he was not going to pursue it.
So like a dummy I believed him.So on feb 2 he knocks on my door with the judgment against me.(yes he went to court)And he trying to tell me he went there to stop it instead of calling or just not showing up and said the judge would let him drop it(I wasnt born yesterday)So it said I was evicted for failure to pay rent.So it is on my permanant record and it shows I lost for failure to appear. But no second cause being pursued..Thats the money I guess and he's not pursuing it because he knows I dont owe Him money. So now im waiting on a balliff to throw us out I guess..But he's saying oh dont worry I wont Have you thrown out physically but I cant believe that.I am Moving cause I want nothing to do with him but this had to be some kind of crime.
Does anyone know if it was and is he liable?

You may go back to the court and explain this and he will very possibly be fined and maybe receive even worse. That is misuse of the court process and fraud.
