eviction in florida

Hello,

I am new to this site but was looking for some help. I have filed an eviction for 2 tenants for failing to pay rent. They answered the complaint and filed a motion to determine rent and claim they have paid the rent (hearing has not been set yet). They have not deposited any money in the court registry even know the summons stated that they are to keep the rent current. It is now into february and the amount they are disputing is from December. Does any one know if I can file a motion for default for not posting the rent for February? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a hearing date for the eviction yet? Just follow through with the eviction and get rid of these people. In court, bring up the fact that they have not paid and failed to pay the clerk for that month.
