Default 30 Day Notice (renting a house in California)

I have a house in California that I am renting. The tenant informed me today that she will be moving out in the next few days. She did not give me a 30-day notice. I looked at out contact and it did not mention that she had to give me a 30-day notice. Is this something that by law she is required to do. Thanks.

Without proper notice you could charge then another month's rent

CA renants need to give 30 days notice to vacate and LL need to give 30 or 60 day (depending on the length of their tenancy) per CA Civil Code 1946 and CA Civil Code 827a.
