Is it unreasonable or legal to ask a LL for a 60 day notice instead of a standard 30 days?

That reply is correct. If the poster will list his state, we can give him the state required amount of notice for his area.

The state is MA, sorry! Also, if it was agreed on 60 days, could the Landlord legally ask me for last two months rent instead of just last month?

You are required to pay rent for all time you occupy dwelling so yes. However you need only pay for each month as it comes not all at once. Example Feb rent is due Feb 1st but March is not due till March 1st.

I am assuming your LL wants you out? Has he given you notice to vacate yet? If not why do you think he will? If he wants you out and your at lease end or month to month he can legally only give you 30 days notice to leave

They cannot force you to pay two months rent upfront
