She did not sign the lease, but is listed as a resident or occupant of the apt on the lease. What is my legal obligation? Can I just ask her to go? Do I have to give her notice? Any help would be appreciated. D. Walker

Thanks for replying - I was beginning to think nobody would.
Moved in as my girlfriend we were going to start a life together but the relationship is not working. There was no formal agreement and she has not contributed financially at all. She may leave voluntarily when asked but I am not confident she will - that is why I want to learn what I have to do if she refuses to go peacefully. Thanks, D. Walker |
