i've taken tenant to court: free rent until 1/2/09

please help. i've taken my tenant to court for eviction and non payment of rent. the lease ended two months ago and she refused to go and has failed to pay me for the last four months! the court in ny has given her until january 09 to leave and pass the keys of apt on to me. no payments for previous, present or future rent to be paid.
i'm angry because i still have to pay maintenance and mortgage payments. is there anyway in which i can get this to reflect on her credit score. i'm all new to this landlord business (two years) and would appreciate any help.
as i was told, don't get mad get even!

Did the eviction court hear the section of your case on the monetary damages, or just ignore that section? If they ignored the monetary damges for now, you can sue the tenants in small claims court for money owed and get a judgement against them, Have the judgement recorded at the courthouse and it will show up on their credit report. File it right before they are scheduled to move out so they can be served before they leave.
