Without a military clause, is there any way to break a lease in lieu of getting honorably discharged out of the military in the state of oklahoma??

Are you speaking of military housing, or general housing leases?
Federal law allows military personnel who are activated and sent to another base or position, or those deployed overseas, to break a lease without penalty. This is accomplished by submitting a copy of their orders to deploy or transfer to the LL of the rented unit, along with a letter indicating your desire to break the lease, and giving the LL the required amount of notice (if possible). However, if you are asking if you can get out of the military base's housing lease without being transferred, you cannot without penalty. You can ask to buy a lease break by negotiating an amount with the housing coordinator. If others are waiting for housing, he may get permission from his superiors to do this. |
