Default Florida notice of increased rent

In Florida, is there a statute that states a landlord must give the tenant 60 days notice before increasing the rate? What if we're going month-to-month, do they still have to give 60 days notice before raising it?

Default Re: Florida notice of increased rent

No. There is no statute on the amount of notice required to change the rent once you go month to month in FL. The 60 days notice to increase rent on a lease renewal is for your convenience only. There is no law requiring it.
