Default Is this LL out of his mind?

My landlord has been sending someone over to cut/trim the trees in our yard and then sends us a bill. No where in our lease does it state that we are responsible for trees being cut down, only that we should keep the yard cut. Can he do this legally?

What is the specific language of the yard maintenance clause in your lease? Without knowing the wording of this, we can't guess whether he can or can't do this. Please post that clause.
