Confused contract or what?

I've been living in a friends backhouse (1bedroom house but whose address is front houses address except with 1/2 after it) for awhile now. He had let it just run down because had been empty for a long time & hadnt done anything to it so it was going to fall apart totally if some attention wasnt paid to it immediately & that wouldve even been more of a hassle for him. The deal wwas when I was asked to move here in first place that I could live here for infinity (forever, til I died, if i chose) but instead of paying rent(I pay my own bills, etc), I'd fix up the inside, & he'd PAY for the outside(though I may have to have it done, he'd pay for it all).
I had to have a new roof put on within first month or so(was totally caving in), I've had to have lots of other various things done too including SEVERAL leaks fixed, bottom of front wall totally resealed (flooded several times, which he was aware would happen) because it wasnt done right in 1st place, all of the windows & door sealed, just to name a Few. He's never gotten around to giving me the $ or helping me pay for ANY of it(however I have HAD to pay for it cause I cant just let my stuff get ruined as water comes in or whatever, just because he hasnt gotten around to giving me the $or material). I've got to have at least part of the back wall on outside replaced IMMEDIATLY now because the out wall is rotted out.
I've really put everything I have(I'm on perm.disability) both as in $ & as in all of my time, effort, & heart into this place. I want to get something in writing just saying that the agreement is that I can live here indefinite(as long as he owns the house, of course) in return that I do the upkeep on the place & fix the inside, & he just pays for the major structural on the out. (Heck, even it just states he'll pay part of the materials I'd be happy but I'm even to the point of forgetting the whole thing of him paying for it, just as long as I have something in writing showing that I'm welcome to live here, blah, blah, blah, just as long as i do my end!!!).
I've asked him for awhile about getting something in writing(which could also be to protect him) but he just puts me off & puts me off. I know that I'm going to have to get something written/printed up, then present it to him, then he'll sign it, but I dont know where to find something or how to write it or what I need. Any help please!?!

You can just write up what you wish and the two of you can review it and agree. Even this post could be attached to explain why you two are agreeing...

Or you could have a professional assist--email world law and they may give you a quote.
