can landlord make structural alterations
Can a landlord make structural alterations, in our case build a three car garage plus apartment next to our rental house and then attaching it to the house, without our consent? The rental agreement does not mention anything about any construction work. We are renting a single family home and due to the construction work we lost use of half of the property and are exposed to daily noise, dirt and an unsafe environment. We are still being charged the same amount of rent and are paying all utilities although the construction crew uses our electrical outlets and water faucets.

Re: can landlord make structural alterations
If it is not bearable for you, you may break the lease or sue for the diminished value of your lease; this is a common problem. They should have warned you before you signed.
