Proxy Rights
As a renter in a coop, may I represent my landlord at the annual meeting if the landlord provides the board with a signed proxy request?

This depends on your coop's rules. Some coops will allow an owner to appoint his own person to vote by proxy for him, others only allow a certain company representative to vote by proxy for all absent owners at the coop meetings. (My coop only does the following. I either attend myself in person or appoint thier guy to vote for me. No one else is authorized.) You'd have to have the LL/owner to check the coop rules and what procedures he would have to take to give you his proxy power.
