I was let go form my managers position with a landscape contractor
here in Iowa a few weeks ago. My question is on a non compete agreement. 1. Can I contact a property management firm that has done and my still be doing business with my former employer? This property management firm has over 50 differnt properties that they manage and my former employer may take care of only a few of them. 2. If I send out a mailer advertising my new company and a customer { former or current } of my former employer contacts me about providing an estimate or to start service how should I proceed with their request. |

You should not mail out to current customers of your employer.
But you can contact companies that may have only limited contacts with them. |
