Confused Harassment?

I wrote back in Aug about a secretary who preformed sexual favors to get her job. She has made no secret of it with me. She has shown me nude pictures of our boss, shown me sexually explicit emails and bondage photos. I cannot get ahold of any of these as proof. Her and my boss are constantly together, everyone at work is uncomfortable with the way the act together. I am management also, I am considered number three in line seniority wise. I am expected to handle all issues in his and the operations managers absence. He excludes me from management meetings, and invites the secretary i am talking about instead. My job preformance is suffering very badly, I have tendered my resignation for January. I used to love my job, now I cant stand the thought of going to work. What can I do? I am a disabled veteran (90%) and I am worried I will not be able to find a job at this level. But I cannot continue to go to work for a man that is obviously trying to hold me down and must know that she has told me, or shown me everything. This is all I can figure. Until she was there he and I had great communication. What do I do? I forgot to add that she holds this over us, like do what I say or Youll loose your job. I believe whole-heardtedly that she has this capability. He does whatever she says, she is a SECRETARY, she is always making rude remarks to him, and about to everybody else on the staff. She is even worse with the regular employees. She has her days where she is really nice, but for the most part you feel like you always have to watch your back. I really need help on this. Like I said, I have turned in my resignation, but I really dont want to loose my job, because of her and the control she has over the boss. What can I do?

Default Re: Harassment?

You could consult your nearest Department of Labor office to briefly discuss the issue with them first...you may also want to ask the company to put what is happening in writing and explain to them that you may have attorneys review the situation...try speaking to a higher level of management about the issue if possible or directors of the firm.
