I made a complaint against a fellow co-worker (who happened to also be a site representative for our union) to my employer, at some point after my complaint was lodged, the union job stewart emailed my boss and human resources director and told them in that emial "that if my complaint was pursued the union would file retaliation charges." I found this out months later after I had finally dropped my complaint because no action was taken.

You should report that to all involved. That is not legal and certainly you should have been informed of it. But it seems that your union needs to explain that clearly to you as a first step--ie why did they even do and say that?

I have already taken those steps and was told by "them" that they did nothing wrong. I even went beyond the chapter to the Assocoation President and he did not do anything about it either.

Follow your union procedures to lodge a grievance, and it may become resolved. It is YOUR union after all.

I did, it did no good because the people that did it are my union representatives, so nothing was done.
