Can an employee refuse me copy of the employee handbook? Can i be denied access to my personel file? Can an employer insist that before i change my hairstyle i have to get it approved by the first? Does an employer have th right to dictate what color makeup or nail polish i may wear?

I wish to inform you that the employer may have an employee handbook which prescribes the dress code in that organization. In prescribing the dress code, there must be no discrimination or violation of other rights. If the employee handbook has stated the acceptable hairstyles, color makeup or nail polish then it has to be followed by all the employees. Regarding the personal file, it may be confidential in nature. The employer must show you a copy of the employee handbook so that you may study the provisions and follow them.
