Unemployment extension
I have been on the Calif. Training Benefit program for one year, just finished my class. Two weeks before I finished, unemployment cut me off. My classes ended on the 20th, they had the 2nd (typo error). I was told, because they closed my claim, they would have to reopen it, so I could receive my last check. I did this with EDD over the phone. I'm now getting notices that I've been awarded another claim valid until 5/2008. I've already been on unemployment for one year. I thought the maximum was 52 weeks? Should I call them? Could I take another class for the summer? Is a mistake on the part of EDD?

call to check your status--if they overpay you, you would be liable to pay it all back.
