Default Can I sue?

I was working at a grocery store in my city. I got robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot as I was leaving work. This happened around 10:30pm. Just the week before a customer was robbed in the same parking lot but no one told anybody about this nor did they beef up security. My question is can I sue my employer. People are telling me I can. At this time I am afraid of the dark and I am afraid to be at home by myself. As the robbers have all of my information because they have my purse. Granted they were caught but only 2 people. I am just so afraid. So again my question is can i sue my employer?

Default Re: Can I sue?

You have to show the employer himself was negligent and that is hard to do in these cases...consult a few local lawyers as well.
