the laws usually are this: if the 1 employee is assigned to a register, and they have been the only person who has had their hands in the til, wage may be able to be docked. in this case usually paper work is filled out every day for the employers insurance that they can do this.
if more than 1 person's hands have been in the til your employer MAY NOT DOCK WAGE! in this case the only thing he can legally do is fire you. (but that's even a little sketchy, because he cant prove who makes the mistakes) hope this helps |
