Default Sex Discrimination in Northern NJ

I am a 37 year old male that works for a company in NJ. Recently, a Manager of a building left the company unexpectedly and I was asked to fill in because I was qualified for the position. Recently, the CEO of the company hired a female to become the Manager of this building and return me to my original position of an administrator.

Within the company, there are 3 buildings that require onite managers. All of those managers are females and their administrators are females. I am the only male on site administrator.

Within the main office, there is 1 male off site manager and 1 male general manager. All other managers and employees are females.

I feel this is blatant discrimination against males (which, by the way, the CEO is male). The highest paying positions are filled with females and the males have no real chance at those higher paying positions.

Advise and thoughts are appreciated.

I see no discrimination. Men have dominated and been paid higher salaries for the exact same duties and positions as women for years. If you don't think there is room for growth, instead of getting in a snit, simply look for employment more suitable to your needs. There is no law saying an employee has to remain working where they are not satisfied.

It's not, however, considered "sex discrimination".

Employees who file lawsuits against employers have an extremely difficult time being hired by other potential employers, for good reason.

I have NO sympathy for you! You can go anywhere - ANYWHERE and make more than a woman with the same or more experience can make. Boo Hoo!
