Do I have a case?

I just want to see if I have a case. Its in my jobs handbook that u have to have 5 occurances before u can get terminated. I had 1.5 up until June when I got sick with a stomach virus and had to leave work. The next morning I went to the emergency room and got treated for my illness and the doctor gave me a work excuse for three days. On my way back to work they called me and said I was suspended for failure to communicate how long I was gonna be out. I called my team leader and her supervisor and told them how long I was gonna be out. The supervisor even asked what type of medications they perscribed me because she thought I was lying. But I have no proof of it, its really my word against hers. I was suspended for three days. Its was only June and upon my return to work I had to sign some papers stating that I could not be late or call out anymore this year I only had 3.5 occurances. I signed it because I was intimidated that I would lose my job if I didnt sign it and I have four children to take care of. Only one month went by and I was late because I got stopped by a police on the way to work which caused me to be late. I showed them the citations my team leader said that was still not an excuse. And because of that I am suspended right now and maybe about to lose my job. Do u think I have a case.
