Confused working "under the table"

I'am a former employee of a firm where I used to work for 3 yrs., came into their payrroll for only 1 yr. I got "fired" for an argument with my boss (she was yelling employees), did get UI for the last 5 months now I got a determination of benefits from DOL with a different cause my employer said that I did quit. Now I want to figth my rigths but I am affraid regarding give information on my hearing regard the last 2 yrs that i didnt work legally.

my questions:
Should I mention that I had been employee for the firm for more time?
Wich legal consecuences I could have for been working under the table?
How it could help me taking consireation that my former employer did lie to DOL/UI regarding my claim and termination cause?
