pregnant

i live in arizona....
my wife was hired on as a FULL TIME housekeeper. yet they had her doing jobs that were not in her job description. one of these jobs was painting various items and areas. being an industrial building she had to use lead based paint. as of today she is near 4 months pregnant, and when the doctor got word of this he gave her a note to let the company know she cant paint anymore.. in light of this the company has decided to cut her hrs and have her employed as a PART TIME housekeeper. because she cant perform a job that was never even in her hiring job description.
can we do anything?
we sturggle for money as it is with one child and another on the way.
