Default on call nurse with no pay !?

I am an LPN, paid an hourly wage with a full time schedule. I am required to work every other weekend and every other holliday as agreed. I work in a nursing home. I have worked at the same nursing home for over 10 years. Now they are requiring all of us to be on call on many of our weekends off and some of our hollidays off without pay unless we are actually called in. Is this legal? Please give me details to answers if possable. We're non-union, under no contracts. In Ohio.

Thank You,

Nurse
