My question is in regards to liability that we as an employer have. We have
an employee who had a felony approx 25 years ago. Served his time and has kept out of trouble since. We have a business in which we make deliveries of our product to customer homes. What is our liabilty in allowing this employee to make in-home deliveries? (His felony was not robbery related.) One of our partners thinks we should get rid of this employee and never allow him to make deliveries. He is a very good worker and very competent in his job. Wondering what is the legal thing to do? Thank you. |
