Angry Is this Slander???

My business associate (who at the time was my boss) told our boss, co-workers, and at least one of my family members, and possible some of my clients, that I was using illegal drugs (crack cocaine) & having an affair among several other lies, this is while my husband and I were going thru marital problems and my associate and I were going thru a power struggle over our jobs. Part of my job is handling large amounts of money and having access to client’s credit card information. Basically he was trying to get me to leave the company. What if any are my options?

[that I was using illegal drugs (crack cocaine) & having an affair among several other lies]

If that was not true, it clearly is slanderous. If you were truly damaged you may sue for damages.

None of this is true, and now he is really upset because our boss chose not to believe him and I have now been given his position and now he is going to corporate with these lies. I need to know what I can do to stop him. This has been a nightmare. I am willing to take drug testing, lie detector what ever it takes to make this stop. These lies have gotten back to my children, my husband’s family all my co-workers, I just need to get on with my life.

You may want to see if you can find a lawyer to sue him for the damages he has caused...if he has any assets...

Get the best lawyer you can find who specializes in this. Sue his azz for all he has!

You have to show your bosses and co-workers , not to mention your family and friends, that you will not take anyone's sh1t!

If he has no assets you can at least force him to make a public apology to you.

Go get him!
