My duties include sending bills to clients and recording their payments. I have quit from my job 5mos. ago. I have heard word that my former employer or my replacement found unbilled clients and unrecorded payments. I never stole anything, even a single penny.
Can former employer sue me for failing do a good job? |

No they cannot.
But they still could allege purposeful fraud as a criminal act etc. if that is something they can prove. Presumably they could not do so in your case. |
