I was an officer in company A and already resigned about 2 years ago. Recently, the company requested me to attend hearing at court for a court case against the company as the report that i signed during my employement contain some errors(and the company is being sued on that report.)
The company has threatened to take legal action against me if i do not attend the hearing. Kindly advise whether i have the obligation to attend the hearing since i no longer work for the company currently. Thanks Regards CK |

You do not need to attend.
They can subpoena you through the courts where you live if they need your testimony. And they can pay for travel if you are not close by. |
