Confused harassment at work

i am a shift manager at the local round table pizza. i have worked for this specific company for 3 years have worked for the chain 5 years total. i have been a shift manager for the past 2 years now. there is a young woman who is also the same level as i am who has stated in front of many employees that she is trying to get me as well as other employees fired. i have done nothing wrong in the five years i have worked for round table and have only been written up once for forgetting to lock the safe while i went to the bank to make the daily deposit during which time money went missing. it has gone to the point now that this girl is telling people i am stealing from the company and continuing to publically parade the fact that she is trying to fire me as well as punishing me with lack of hours and shifts due to the fact that she just does not like me because i dated her boyfriend. i have already spoken with the store manger about the situation and nothing has yet been resolved. actually, things have gotten worse. i am planning on talking to the heads of the company who own this particular chain and filing a formal complaint. i would like to know what i should do and if this is enough. i am being constantly harassed and my character is being attacked and it is affecting my emotional wellbeing. i cannot afford to find another job either nor the gas it would take to be transferred to another store. what can i do?

Red Face Re: harassment at work

I am not a lawyer, but I was harrassed at my job at LA Fitness. I called up corporate everyday and kept complaining. They finally took care of the situation. The guy harrassing me was not fired, but he was super nice to me after I complained about him numerous times. He finally quit though, I probably helped with him not wanting to work there anymore. Hope this helps, Jed

Default Re: harassment at work

I think that is good advice; the persistence will pay off normally.
