Default Contract rules

I have been terminated by my employer. I was given 2 weeks notice.
In the signed contract drawn up by the employer, it states that "the greater of one month" notice shall be given either for termination or if I were to quit.
Does this breach of the contract make the entire contract null and void?
Thank you for your input.

Chedck with local law but it probably means he only needs to pay you for the 1 month versus 2 weeks. This will depend on state law and whether for cause or not for cause.

I agree, he has to pay the full amount due but it does not necessarily void the entire contract.
