I am a supervisor and one of my employees has been called into the office for a meeting with upper management. They have not informed me of what this meeting is about or if any disiplinary action is going to take place. The employee has asked me to attend the meeting with her and take notes. Do I have an obligation to go with her and can the management fire me for going with her? We live in Oregon and I do understand it is a right to work state and they can fire with no reason. Please help. The meeting takes place in 6 hours.

That is up to you.
You do not have to attend, as a legal matter. |
