According to uscis.gov, my fiance and I meet all of these requirements:
If you petition for a fiancé(e) visa, you must show that:
Is there a point where my income, (sponsorship), is taken into consideration before my fiance could come over from England? Or does that only happen when he actually lives here and files for his LPR? I've read some about sponsorship and I know I don't meet the income requirements to do so, but if we could get a K-1 visa, get married, and he could file the I-765 Employment Authorization form and get work, we'd make enough together to meet the requirements. Any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated - I want to marry my sweetheart as soon as possible! Thanks

I wish to inform you that you will file Form I-134, Affidavit of Support. If you do not have sufficient income to support your fiance, then a relative or a friend who meets the financial criteria can file an additional Affidavit of Support to show sufficient income to support your fiance. This documentation is to be filed at the time you petition for a K-1 visa for your fiance.

What if I don't make enough and can't find a co-sponsor? Obviously my fiance is going to work once he gets here - do they take that into consideration? He's working now and makes more than enough to meet the requirements himself and will file the employment form as soon as he arrives here. He used to live in the US and can return to his old line of work.
