Marrying a US CItizen while in US itself
Hi
I am currently on my F1Visa(OPT). My boyfriend just got his citizenship and we were thinking about getting married. My OPT expires at the end of may. if we get married before that, what status would i be in? how long will it take to get the papers?? would i be allowed to go to school for masters or work? would appreciate if you would let us know soon.. Thanks a lot |

my situation wa similar but frankly it best to have counsel review your marriage plans as there are various factors that affect how you should proceed; and info beyond your email is required
