Good day: I have been corresponding with wonderful lady from Russia and she went to Moscow to get plane tickets to come to U.S. to meet me. After
arriving in Moscow and having visa approved, she discovers that she cannot afford round trip plane ticket. The embassy informed her that if she couldn't show tickets for travel that she would never be allowed to come to U.S. even in the future. She is very distraught over this as I am also. She is a dentist in Nadym, Russia in a clinic there and is in good standing with law enforcement as she has never broken any laws or been in trouble. She wants desparetly to meet me (likewise). It was our plan that we meet, then after her return to Russia I was going to file for petition (K-1 visa) to get her back. This is not some scam to get her citizenship here. We truly care about one another and her emails to me, which I have saved will show this. Is there a solution to this problem? Thank you so much for any advice. |

The embassy does not say things such as she will never be able to apply again. We would be slightly concerned here--there is a lot of money grabbing in these scenarios. You could arrange a ticket however for travel only, paid in advance.
